Bahamen Baker Special Day Spiced Nuts
How many would-be-bakers have given up in the kitchen because the idea of trying out another
recipe is too daunting. You want to bake. You love the smell of warm baked- goods permeating
each room of your home yet gathering all the necessary ingredients and spices for that recipe,
sometimes deters you from your goal.
Gone are the days of feeling defeated in the kitchen! Grab that jar of Bahamen Baker and
substitute for any of those warming spices that may be missing from your spice cabinet. Just
sprinkle, measure or mix in the Bahamen Baker and say good “Good Day Sunshine”! It’s that
simple! These Special Day Spiced Nuts go quickly, so consider doubling the recipe!
8 oz. Raw Pecans, Walnuts or Cashews
1/8 c. Maple Syrup
1 ½ tsp. Bahamen Baker
1 T. Coconut Oil, warmed
1/8 tsp. Salt
Mix the above ingredients together and allow it to rest for an hour or so for the flavors to
really absorb into the nuts. Heat your oven to 350̊ degrees. Give those nuts a final stir
and place them on a parchment or foil lined baking sheet. Bake them for 11-12 minutes.
Remove them from the oven and allow them to cool completely to really crisp up. For
optimal freshness, store them in an air tight glass container.
